One of the most severe cases of Child abuse. 6 month old bitten, tortured and starved.

26 year old David Coronado Sr., found guilty of child abuse. A Dallas court had turned a quick verdict after seeing the now 2year old boy. The nurses wheeled him right up to the jury box during the punishment phase of the trial. Jurors found it hard to hold back the tears. A witness said, "The baby only has two or three years left to live, and then when the baby dies he's free and gets to go to heaven". Back in 2008 David Coronado and his wife, Ruth Chabolla, took the then just 6 month old baby to the hospital. Bruises from head to toe, 42 bite marks, crushed elbows, ankles and wrists. They had to remove a rib to repair his spine. The baby abuse to near death, and starved.


The jury handed David Coronado a life sentence and $10,000 fine. His wife Ruth Chabolla is expected back for a separate trial.
